What are Functions in CRM?
Functions in Zoho CRM follow a serverless computing model, where the platform manages all underlying infrastructure, allowing users to focus solely on writing and executing code. Using Deluge, Zoho’s proprietary scripting language, you can create custom functions that run within CRM without handling deployment or servers. These functions help automate tasks such as updating records or integrating with third-party applications, and can be triggered based on specific criteria through workflow rules, custom buttons, related lists, schedules, and more—enabling flexible and efficient customization of CRM processes.
