What is a Widget?

A widget is a simple and easy-to-use embeddable component developed to perform a function on a platform. Using widgets, you can build value added features such as adding custom dashboards, customize features like SMS, and integrate third-party services with Zoho products easily. Widgets are easy to develop and don’t require extensive expertise or experience in programming. You’ll just need basic functional knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and SDKs to create widgets.
